MUMBAI : Sanjay Mishra is one of the most talented actors we have in the industry. He has impressed one and all with his performance in films like Apna Sapna Money Money, Dhamaal, All The Best, Ankhon Dekhi, Golmaal Again, Kaamyaab, and others. The actor will next be seen in Vadh, which is slated to release on 9th December 2022. 

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Sanjay Mishra, and spoke to him about Vadh, his experience of working with Neena Gupta, and more…

What was your first reaction when Vad was offered to you?

I don’t get such roles and a character where my wife is played by Neena Gupta. So, I was excited to do the film. We shot for it at real locations in Gwalior. So, these were the reasons I said yes to the film.

How was your experience of working with Neena Gupta?

It was really good. When I act in movies, most actors prepare their dialogues in vanity vans and their rooms. But, Neena madam was like let’s sit together and rehearse. So, it worked out very well.

You are mainly known for doing comedy roles and very rarely do we see you in serious roles. Why do you think filmmakers don’t approach you more for serious roles?

Comedy is very difficult, and I have mainly done difficult work, but now I am getting some relief. Now, I am getting roles that I want to do. Earlier, people used to ask me what’s your dream role, but now, it’s not a dream, and I am getting good roles in reality.
