Well, the actor we are talking about is none other than Mithun Chakraborty. He was a huge star during the 80s and 90s despite giving around 180 flops out of the 270 films he starred in. In the late 90’s Mithun shocking had 33 consecutive flops.

However Mithun retained his superstar status since he also gave many hits. His 50 films were hits, which includes 3 blockbusters and 9 superhits. Mithun’s flops were essentially low budget films that were able to recover the costs. His films like Disco Dancer, and Agneepath among others were huge hits and kept him relevant as an actor for decades to come.
