The extremely talented Rajeshwari Sachdev (Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Nach Baliye etc) will now be seen enthralling the audience with her vivid personality and flamboyance in Life OK’s new presentation, Laut Aao Trisha (24 Frames Productions). In a conversation with Rajeshwari, she shed some light on the character she will portray in the show. She said, “I am very excited to be a part of a show which is an adaptation of a Spanish telly series which was well acclaimed. I essay the role of Lavanya Garewal, the daughter of the Swaika household, who is a well established business woman and lives a happy married life.” “What I like most about my character is that the script at no level makes the character uni-dimensional. My character is not white, black or grey but very colourful and not clichéd at all,” she added. We are sure Rajeshwari will leave no stone unturned to spread her charm and take the viewers by storm given the fact that she is a talented woman. But why did she stay away from television for so long? Rajeshwari clarified, “Yes, I agree with the fact that it has been a long time I have not been seen on television. To be frank, I was raising my four year old boy. I did some regional cinema which won many awards and brought me some too. I took up the projects which allowed me to spend some quality time with my family. Now that my son has grown up I am certain to take long professional strides.” Talking about television as a medium she added, “As an actor I feel television is a very stressful medium. It is difficult to keep your interest alive in a particular project for one whole year or probably more than a year. I am happy Laut Aao Trisha is a finite series because never-ending sagas are difficult to keep one’s interest alive. When we have a strong script writer (Raghuvir Shekhawat), a director(Nandita Mehra) who allows your character to grow and a producer who is also an actor (Bhairavi Raichura), things automatically fall into place.“ We say welcome back to TV Rajeshwari!!!
