Geet Sharma, who played the daughter of Akbar in Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar has bagged a prime role in the upcoming Channel V show, Ishq Unplugged.

As our readers would know, we at Tellychakkar.com have been reporting about this new show produced by Panorama Entertainment. The last we wrote of it was of Chitrapama Banerjee playing a prime part.

Now, we hear of Geet playing the role of the male lead’s (Mohit Gaur) sister. She will play the role of Simmi, who would be very loving towards her brother. She will be the only one in the house who will support Mandy (Mohit) in his dream of becoming a singer.

When contacted, Geet confirmed that she is part of the show.

Geet has been part of shows Kumkum Bhagya, Ye Jawani Ta Ra Re Ri and various episodics like Love By Chance, Crime Patrol, MTV Indies.
