Elegant and talented Mahima Makwana is riding her luck to the big screen now!!

Yes, Mahima will soon be traveling South to play the lead in a yet untitled Telugu film. 

Wow!! Good news, right!

We hear that Mahima has been roped in to play the lead opposite Raahul Haridas of Happy Days fame. The film will be a complete suspense drama. The team will be leaving for Hyderabad tomorrow (2 July) to start their first schedule of shoot. 

When contacted, Mahima confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, “Yes, it is true that I have bagged the lead role in a Telugu film. I wanted to experience this new phase too. This will be my first break on the big screen. I am excited and look forward to the shoot.”

The girl who made it big on TV with lead roles in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane and Adhuri Kahaani Humari will definitely not loosen her grip on TV. “For the time being, I am out of TV work. However, I will love to continue doing TV.”

Mahima Makwana has been mentored and guided by actor Ashish Kaul. Ashish imparts his knowledge and helps budding talents grow in the acting field. After Ruchi Malviya, Mahima will be Ashish’s next student to get a big screen break...
