MUMBAI: The top three finalists of this season of Bigg Boss were Deepak Thakur, Dipika Kakar, and Sreesanth. Karanvir Bohra and Romil Chaudhary were evicted. In a twist, the contestants were given a chance to pick a briefcase with money or stay in the game for the trophy. Taking the opportunity, Deepak Thakur accepted the briefcase, leaving Dipika and Sreesanth to compete for the trophy. 

Deepak had entered the house with Urvashi, but she was evicted midway due to her poor performance. Deepak remained in the news for the entertainment factor he added to the show and for his crush on Somi Khan. The singer won hearts, which helped him survive in the house for three months. 

When Karanvir Bohra, who was declared the fourth runner-up, was asked who deserves to win, he voted in favour of Deepak and so did Romil Chaudhary, who was declared the third runner-up.

Salman Khan also declared that Deepak had received the lowest votes among the top three contenders.
