But off-screen, I am Kiku Sharad and hail from a staunch Marwari business family which is into finance sector. Initially, I was not inclined towards acting as a career, but it was during my college days that I developed a liking towards it. All thanks to actors like Sharman Joshi who was my senior, Amit Mustang, JD sir, who gave great performances that I was attracted towards acting.

My fans know me as Inspector Gulgule in FIR. But off-screen, I am Kiku Sharad and hail from a staunch Marwari business family which is into finance sector. Initially, I was not inclined towards acting as a career, but it was during my college days that I developed a liking towards it. All thanks to actors like Sharman Joshi who was my senior, Amit Mustang, JD sir, who gave great performances that I was attracted towards acting.
They were great inspiration for me. But if I hadn’t become an actor, I would have still been associated with the entertainment industry. I would have, instead, set up an event management company.
And talking about what I am right now, I must admit I am enjoying being part of FIR. It has been six years I have been associated with this show and it is like family to me now.
We all have lots of masti on the sets. I am a prankster and Kavita Kaushik is my partner in crime. However, there are times, when I manage to scare the brave heart Kavita. She can easily hold a living snake in her hands, but she gets scared at the sight of mice. And I get these fake insect boxes and shock her.
That’s about the fun I have on my show. On the personal front, I am happily married and have two young sons. I like spending my leisure time with my family and we go out and watch movies. Talking about my future plans, I honestly do not have any time in hand as FIR keeps me extremely busy. However, when I do get time, I will definitely opt for daily sagas and reality shows.
Apart from that I would love to do theatre; I have done many plays till date. To all my fans I would like to say thanks for all the love and support that you all have showered on me. It is all because of you that this journey has been going on for 6 years now.
