The conflict between the two brothers on Star Plus' Saarthi has become all the more spicer with the introduction of a new character, Vishaka, essayed by Aditi Shirwaikar aka Sonu of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. In Saarthi she plays daughter to Mansen Goenka (Nawab Shah). "I play a negative role, but unlike the usual vamps, I don't arch my brows, nor do I wear garish makeup. The audience will be able to relate to my character as it is not made up and has a more modern appeal. I hate my step sister-in-law, Bhoomika (Neha Devi Singh) and keep confronting her on trivial matters. Because of me, a major drama unfolds, which will take the audience for surprise," says the excited Aditi. "The entire experience has been simply amazing. I thank the channel for suggesting my name for the part," adds this gorgeous gal who has also acted in popular shows such as Milee , Dekho Magar Pyar Se and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, all on Star Plus. Though the story line of Saarrthi is not based on the mythological epic, Mahabharata, yet one cannot ignore the strong underlying similarities in their characters. Going by the epic's format, Aditi's role bears a lot of resemblence to Duryodhana's daughter, Trishala. And that's not all! Aditi has also added one more show in her kitty; Zee's next big venture, Dulhan Banoo Main Teri. Here she, once again, essays a negative character, Chandramukhi. This show hits the tube on Aug 14.
