Well, Varun participated in Splitsvilla season 9 and his bond with Martina Thariyan was the highlight. The duo was quite cosy and looked like a romantic couple. Time and again they expressed their fondness for each other and stayed with each other for the entire show. However, post the show, their relationship did not last.

Fans loved their couple and shipped them but things didn’t materialise between them. Later, Varun started dating Benafsha and the rest is history.
