It was earlier reported in the media that the very talented Mohan sisters got together to produce a music video. However, we now hear that it was basically Shakti’s dream that her sisters helped her achieve. “I was in New York last year when I thought of coming up with a music video. I also had plans of shooting it there itself but then I realised that it wouldn’t be possible without my sisters. So, when I got back home, I told them about my wish to come up with a music video of my own and got thumbs up from both my sisters. Thus, we started working on it,” shared Shakti. “I told them about the concept that I had in mind. So Mukti worked for a couple of months to come up with a beautiful poem and Neeti recited it. Later, we were to go to Kerala for my birthday celebration. Since, we knew we would have some time there, we shot the video in Kerala with the help of professional videographers,” she went on to add. So was this video simply for your creative satisfaction or commercial purpose? “It was completely for our creative side. And that is why I have uploaded it on YouTube. It’s called ‘Move - Official Dance Video By Shakti Mohan’,” maintained Shakti. Lastly explaining the video in one line, she averred, “It’s for all those talented children out there who are trying hard to achieve their goal.” The poem ‘Move’ goes like this ….
