MUMBAI : Family Man series revolves around the life of Srikant (Manoj Bajpayee) who is a middle-class man and is also living the life of a spy. In the web show, we get to see that Suchitra aka Suchi, essayed by Priyamani visits a counselor. Srikant feels the need to connect with Suchi. In the last season, we saw that the pair was drinking cups of coffee, in the kitchen late at night. Srikant asks Suchi about her distant behaviour and gets a sense that she is not being her true self. Suchi is about to reveal that she has been cheating on him, but the screen blanks out.
Now, in another universe will Srikant forgive Suchi who has developed a close bond with Arvind (Shard Kelkar). He is Suchi's friend and he does not care about Suchi's marital status. After Suchi confesses, will Srikant be able to take the relationship ahead? It is interesting to note that Suchi does not yet know that Srikant is working as an intelligence officer.
Will Srikant understand that Suchi wanted the emotional baggage of the infidelity to be known? Will she be heard and listened to? Will she get a chance to explain about the adultery she committed?
This is what Suchi might have felt: "A lot of women have identified with how Suchi wants to talk, wants somebody to listen to what she's going through but is not able to, which is what happens in a lot of households because what they want is somebody who would listen".
Suchi may have also thought, "Whatever dilemma she's going through, she wants to talk to Srikant, but he's doing his job of protecting the country. So he's not able to give as much time as needed to communicate with his family".
