Simplicity is the USP of Tumhari Pakhi - Intezaar Mein: Shraddha Arya

Shraddha Arya
Having prominently acted in Telugu language films and also having starred as a female model in Shael Oswal's album number named ‘Soniye Hiriye’, Shraddha Arya soon caught the eyes of the people of the television industry. And to her amazement, the actress got an offer from Shashi Sumeet Productions for a show on Life OK. Her first assignment was in the said production house’s show Main Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki in which she played Laxmi opposite Sudeep Sahir. And the second show that she is doing for the producers is a daily soap titled Tumhari Pakhi - Intezaar Mein… that aspires to join the league of the production’s popular serials like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Punar Vivah among others. The show revolves around a woman who has been waiting for her husband for the last 18 years. Observes Shradhha, “I wouldn’t say that the show is an out of the world concept or a story that people have never seen before, but it is one of the most beautiful stories which audience of any age group will be able to relate to. In the show I essay the lead role of Pakhi and my character is very grounded and down-to-earth. She being a woman of a positive nature knows how to turn around a negative situation into a positive one. Simplicity is the USP of the show and this is one thing which drove me to sign Tumhari Pakhi - Intezaar Mein…” Which is the character that she relates to the most- Laxmi or Pakhi? “Laxmi was very expressive and animated whereas Pakhi is more of a calm and mature person. I connect more with Laxmi, but the fact that I have started understanding the character of Pakhi, I have started feeling a little close to her too.” We wish that the lady is graced with lots of luck in future. The show goes on air from 11 November at 9.30pm.
