Shraddha gets into movie groove!

Shraddha Nigam was last seen judging John Aur Kaun on Hungama and had been doing Pakistani shows overseas. For now the petite actor prefers quality over quantity. Though she does not have any exciting shows on television to rave about but she surely has two quality movies in hand. The actor is doing Salaam India which is produced by Salaam India Productions and directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film revolves around the theme of cricket and includes the likes of Shraddha Nigam, Sanjay Suri, Sandhya Mridul, Milind Soman and a number of veteran actors.

Is it television or theatre

One look at the starcast of producer Anand Mundra and Himanshu Sanghvi's new play Ae..ae..ae..Phasaa and you wonder if it's a TV serial as it includes more of small screen rather than theatre actors. No plans to replace Manish Goyal, says Star Plus

Manish Goyal aka Tilak of Bhabhi is terribly upset and hurt over the news carried by us, last evening. "This is not done," he says, "Someone is spreading false information about me." Here's the rejoinder: Manish clarifies that he was not dumped from Star Plus and UTV's Bhabhi. "I had myself opted out, simply because I had an altercation on the sets. As a consequence, my self-respect was at stake. Along the way, TRPs went down. And I was recalled." According to a co-actor in Bhabhi, Rupali Ganguly, "Manish is a great fella. We all are like one family."

Naya channel - naye shows!

After Utsav, Star Plus is ready with another proposed sibling. Tentatively titled P2, this one won't run rehashes, but some really interesting fare. That Ekta Kapoor will unleash her Kannu Ki Kismat Mein Kya Hai on P2 is already known. We now have it on authority that the channel, to launch in October, will also have a comedy show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, a half-hour weekly. Produced by Hats Off Productions (who made Khichdi for Star Plus), it will star Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly and Reeta Bhaduri.
