Samir Soni, who played one of the sons in the film, spoke on his recollections of working with Amitabh and Hema and how he was awestruck by them when he first met them in a recent interview. Samir's character spent a lot of time on screen with Amitabh's, and he claimed that after all that time with the famous actor, he now saw him as his father.

The 'Dream Girl' of Bollywood played the character of a mother to four adult boys in the movie, which was directed by Ravi Chopra and produced by BR Chopra. Malini was first hesitant to accept the role of the mother in the film because she had never done it before.
