MUMBAI :Gautam Vig is a well-known television actor who is best known for his performance in serials like Ishq Subhan Allah, Tantra, and Pinjara Khubsurati Ka etc.

These days he has been grabbing headlines for his participation in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 16, and he came across as a strong contestant of the show in the initial days. But recently, his game dropped down a bit.

His relationship with Soundarya Sharma was the main talking point, both inside and outside of the house, and fans felt that they made a good couple.

Unfortunately, the actor’s journey came to an end and he was evicted during the ‘Shukarvaar Ka Vaar’ episode.

TellyChakkar has got in touch with the actor and asked him if he trusted Shalin as a friend, and about what went wrong in his game.

Do you think that Shalin can be trusted when it comes to building relationships or friendships?

Shalin always has something in his mind. He will make it seem as if he knows things and can handle everything. He is a bluffer in many ways and he will make it seem as if he knows the problems, but in the end, he knows nothing. He would hide a lot of things and he is not sensitive to many things. He tries to be in the good books of Nimirt and Tina, and since I know Soundarya. I knew she wouldn’t be with him because I knew she won’t be that stupid because he cannot be trusted.

What do you think went wrong in your game?

I think that by the time of the captaincy, everything was alright, but then things dropped down after I was picked by Karan Johar for the time that I chose to take away the house ration. The entire house was against me that time and I was cornered, but I didn’t have anything left. Since then, it was difficult for me to bounce back and I didn’t get time to prove myself or even explain. Hence, I faltered there.

What do you have to say about the Karan Johar episode that questioned your relationship with Soundarya Sharma?

To be honest, I didn’t do anything and never understood why Karan Johar felt that my feelings were fake. During the captaincy task, I was fair to everyone but unfortunately, that also backfired. In the video that was shown, I remember just joking around with Nimrit and Shalin, where we had some funny Punjabi conversations, and that was it. But in the end, I didn’t get time to justify myself and prove that my feelings were true.
