The good looking and ever charming Waseem Mushtaq, who has shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh, Amrit Manthan, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, under his belt has now turned a businessman.

Waseem is now the proud owner of Awwal Boutique, an online platform which sells the best of traditional attires for women. And giving him company is his wife, Ayshaa who is handling the daily activities of the website.

Sharing more information on the same, the actor shared, “We have been thinking of launching a business for a long time when we zeroed upon the idea of an apparel store. As soon as I got done with Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, we decided to complete the task. It might look easy, but a lot of work goes into it. Thankfully I have an intelligent wife who takes care of everything and lets me shoot for the shows (smiles).”

The humble guy, who all set to comeback on TV with Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls on & TV, is positive about the feedback of the website, “The progress is slow and steady, but definitely going good. Websites take time to work and it is surely gaining responses. Being from a business family, my dad is really proud of my new venture.”

With him selling dresses made in Pakistan as well, we wondered how he deals with the neighbouring countries. “Not many would know that they are the largest exporters of cotton clothes and we managed to contact some good vendors and intermediaries who are helping us with the business deals. It’s in a good space and we are hoping it to flourish more,” shared Waseem.

And lastly speaking about his upcoming show he added, “I have just started shooting and it’s going really great. We have a great team and I am having a wonderful time shooting with them. It is in the initial stages at the moment, but we are looking forward to the launch.”
