Historical magnum opus Chandra Nandni (Balaji Telefilms) is set to beef up its cast muscles.

Alexx O’Nell has been brought in to the play the pivotal role of Alexander the Great. History pages mentioned of the King playing a major role in the ‘tale’ of the Maurya dynasty.

As per the plot, Chandragupta, via his skills, will win Alexander’s trust and build a strong dynastical foundation.

Alexx has started shooting and will enter the screen soon.

Incidentally, Alexx initially had the name Alexander, which later got changed to Alexx. Namesake scenario? It seems he was meant to play this role.

Alexx gained popularity in the TV industry for his relationships with Sweta Keswani and Shama Sikander.

He has earlier made appearances in shows like Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein and Jhansi Ki Rani.
