MUMBAI :Sony TV recently rolled out a new show titled Kavya - Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon. 

The show hit the small screens about a month ago and it has already become viewers' favourite. 

It stars Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Verma in the lead roles. 

The show's story is about the life of a middle-class girl Kavya Bansal, who aspires to become a civil servant. Kavya and her fiance Shubham dream to become IAS officers together. 

While Kavya fulfills the dream, Shubham fails and asks her to choose between her dreams and him. Kavya moves on in life and then crosses paths with Adhiraj Pradhan, who becomes her support.

Well, the viewers are in love with Kavya and Adhiraj's on-screen chemistry and are hoping they will become one of the most popular jodis of the Telly world. 

But it seems the ardent viewers are not happy with the way the show is shaping up in various areas. 

The show started on a note where it was meant to be a realistic story. 

Mihika Joshi says, ''Accept the male lead in the show, all the other male supporting actors are shown very negatively. It seems their only motive is to stop Kavya from fulfilling her dream. This seems a little bit unrealistic.''

There are so many female IAS officers and also government servants but what is shown in the show is not true in reality as no female receives so much opposition for choosing this field. 

Ekta Verma says, ''Kavya's guru who has trained her and her fiance is also shown biased. He was unhappy that Kavya passed her exam and her fiance didn't. This clearly shows that he was gender-biased inspite of being a teacher.''

Well, the show has several positive things which one can't ignore. 

Fiona Fernandes says, ''I am in love with Sumbul and Mishkat's chemistry. They really look cute together and also performance-wise they are simply amazing.''

Malvika Iyer says, ''Sumbul is the star of the show and she is doing total justice to her character. She is nailing in each and every scene.''

Meera Desai says, ''I am liking how Kavya is standing tall against all the backlash she is getting from people who don't want to see her grow. Kavya is leading her path inspite of facing all the obstacles. This is giving a really positive and motivating message to everyone. The story is definitely going in the right direction.''
