MUMBAI: Bhagya Lakshmi is one of the most loved and successful shows on television.  

It is among the top 10 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings and one of the reasons is the lovely chemistry between Rishi and Lakshmi.

The show stars Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti and is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.

The storyline at times is very gripping and hence the audience is hooked on to the show.

The chemistry between Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti is just mesmerizing and hence they are seen as the one of the most loved on screen pairs on television.

Since the last two – three weeks the show was among the top ten shows and was gaining good TRP ratings.

But last week the show dropped to top twenty at the position of 12 from 9 which was quite surprising for the fans.

But audience and fans feel that one of the reasons of the drop could be that the moment Rishi and Lakshmi come together and their love story begins, the makers once again brought a track of separation, which hasn’t gone down well with the audience.

The fans feel this is a patent track in all Ekta Kapoor serials where the leads never come together and the moment a bit of romance is seen, they drift away.

Sheena Saren : Bhagya Lakshmi is one of my favorite shows and there was a reason why the show was among the top five shows as the romance between the leads was loved. But now, once again the leads are going to separate which as a fan I wouldn’t accept. Why does this always have to happen in an Ekta Kapoor serial, where the leads never come together but are always apart.

Pooja Singh : I feel separation works for serials at times because it comes as a bigger twist and shocks the audience. I don’t think that could be the reason for the down fall in TRP as the makers know best what is working for the serial.

Rhea Kapoor : One comes to know it’s an Ekta Kapoor serial when the leads are almost coming together and they separate. This works for her, hence they keep doing it with every serial and such twists are fine. I don’t think it could be the reason for the downfall in TRP.

Kushboo Savla :  I love Rishi and Lakshmi as a pair on screen and whenever their romance comes, I am the happiest as they make a wonderful pair. They are known as one of the most iconic on screen pairs but then when the separation comes, of course no one would like it. TRP ratings are bound to drop.

Radhika Sharma :  I don’t like the separation track as I love to see the leads together and my heart breaks. It's not acceptable to watch them getting separated and it’s a given that the TRP would fall down.

Well, there is no doubt that the fans love the love story between Rishi and Lakshmi and they want to watch their romance than their separation.
