Young talent Avneet Kaur, who was last seen in Hamari Sister Didi on Sony Pal, is currently missing from the small screen. She was supposed to be part of the big-budget show Meenu Mausi on Star Plus which has failed to take off.

For those who are missing Avneet on your screens, here’s some good news!! The lovely girl is presently busy shooting for her big screen project.

Yes, Avneet will be seen in an upcoming movie, based on kids!!!

Our source informs us that, Avneet has bagged a prominent role in an upcoming movie Chidiyaghar which is being produced by Children’s Film Society and directed by Manish Tiwari. The movie will focus on promoting football amongst the kids in India. The story will revolve around a kid Suraj (played by Rithvik Sahure) and Avneet will play the role of Mili, the bestie to Suraj. Mili will be very close to Suraj and will be a tomboyish typical Maharashtrian girl.

When we contacted Avneet, she told us, “I am very happy to be part of the movie. The actors are great. We are about to complete our shoot and I will miss working with everyone. We have shot at some of the real locations in Mumbai, where I haven’t been before. It’s been a great experience.”

The movie will be released next year after the post production.
