MUMBAI:   Manya Singh rose to fame when she was crowned first runner-up during Femina Miss India 2020.

Post that, Manya didn’t get any projects but she won hearts on social media and became an example for young people to aspire to their dreams.

Recently, she is grabbing the headlines as she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 16, and she was evicted from the show owing to fewer votes.

Tellychakkar got in touch with Manya and asked her if she was ready for her elimination and what she thinks about her fight with Priyanka.

Were you mentally prepared to get eliminated from the show?

Mentally, I was prepared to get eliminated from the show as the two people along with me were Sumbul and Shalin. I knew that Sumbul had a massive fan following through her show Imlie, whereas Shalin had already begun a good game with Tina and Sumbul and  I knew my fan base was low and hence, I got fewer votes and was evicted.

What do you think could be the reason for being the second contestant to be eliminated from the show?

I did play the game as the first big fight that happened in the house was because of me. I knew somewhere I wasn’t that vocal but when it came to fights and giving my opinion I was upfront. I didn’t want to interfere in fights that were unnecessarily planned, and in the end because of fewer votes I was evicted.

Do you think pointing out Priyanka’s father was the right thing to do?

Priyanka also spoke about my upbringing. She went to her father as when I was cooking in the kitchen. It was none of her business to come and poke in between as I was down and wanted to make my shake and would have drunk it in a corner. She first began the fight by telling me that everyone was getting disturbed and then she did personal attacks on me and that’s when I told her about her father. To be honest, I don’t regret the words or things that I have said on the show.

Well, Manya had just begun her game but unfortunately, she couldn’t impress the audience and she got fewer votes and was evicted.
