Ace Director Imtiaz Punjabi who has been at the helm as Director of successful shows like Maryada – Lekin Kab Tak?, Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai – Ajab Sa Risk Hai will now turn Producer with a fiction show on Life OK.
Sources inform us that Imtiaz’s dream of getting into production will bear fruit with this interesting love tale based in Punjab, under his newly formed banner ‘Scaling Heights’. As of now, the casting process is on for the show. The writer turned director turned producer plans to start shoot sometime in the last week of December (2013). The show which has a tentative title ‘Aa Ab Laut Chale’ will have a crisp story line, is what we hear.
A reliable source tells us that talented actor Karam Rajpal who was recently seen in Life OK’s Rakshak has been more or less finalized as the male lead. Karam has earlier been part of Channel [V]’s Suvreen Guggal. Hunt for the female face is presently on.
