Dweep Jwele Jai completes a year; celebrates in style

Dweep Jwele Jai

Team Dweep Jwele Jai (Tent Cinema) is in celebratory mood as it’s a triumphant time for the family.

The Zee Bangla daily recently completed a year (13 July) and to mark this milestone they celebrated in style.

A special cake was brought which presented the cast's memories like an album.  Along with that various types of food items were also present.

Celebrities who were seen enjoying the occasion in full swing were directors Sushanta Das, Sudeshna Roy, Abhijit Guha and actors Indrajit Chakravarty, Nabanita Das, Mita Chatterjee, Moushomi Saha, Raj Bhattacharya and Madurima Basak to name a few.

Sushanta, director of the soap, who seemed happy with the achievement, shared his joy with us, “I have earlier mentioned that the idea of the story came to my mind while reading the biography of badminton player, Saina Nehwa. However, there is no similarity between Saina and Diya (Nabanita) of our story. The idea just came to my mind while reading because Bengali people somewhere connect with this game. They play it at their clubs, at picnics. So, I wanted to create a love story with badminton as the backdrop.”

“Now, audiences can connect with the emotions, be it happiness or sadness, of our hero and heroine. First we conceive an idea of a story then it gets aired and finally when our audiences connect with the characters, it gives a wonderful feeling,” he added with a smile.

The director also revealed that the first year showed Arjo (Indrajit) helping Diya to conquer her dream of becoming a badminton player and now the second year will show the latter helping the former to return to the court.

He also added that one day Diya will become a world champion and if possible that sequence will be shot in a foreign land.

Tellychakkar.com wishes the team good luck for future endeavors.
