MUMBAI: Speculations are highly rife about the casting of Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming reboot of Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Erica Fernandes recently shot for the promos of the show. She was dressed in the character of Prerna Bajaj, which was played by Shweta Tiwari. 

Earlier in the day, there were reports that TV actress Madhurima Tuli has been roped in to play the iconic antagonist, Komolika. It was also mentioned that actresses like Rucha Hasbanis and Arshi Khan too were in the race to bag the iconic character.

However, TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor shut down all the rumours. She took to Twitter to spill some beans about the casting of the character which was played by Urvashi Dholakia.

Kapoor said that for the particular character she has only one choice and thus has approached only one actress.

Even though there will b a reboot in her character ... it’ll b a v difficult casting for this iconic antagonist! So first choice will b hopefully d last choice JAI MATA DI
