MUMBAI: Anup Upadhyay is an Indian stage, film, and television actor. He is known for portraying David Mishra in the Hindi comedy series Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai. 

He has also acted in F.I.R., Lapataganj, and in Life Ok serial May I Come In Madam? 

He is currently seen on the show Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai where he essays the role of Jaldiram, who is Elaichi’s father and who loves his daughter immensely. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Anup and asked him what are the similarities he sees between his real and reel self, to which the actor said that he connects to the funny and humourous side of Jaldiram and the love he has for his daughter as that’s the same bond he has with his daughter in real life. How he takes care of his family and is always there for him is another aspect he relates to.

We also asked him what challenges he faces while shooting during these tough times of COVID, to which the actor said that it is difficult and scary, but the unit and production house takes utmost care and precautions while shooting. They don’t ever remove their masks when they aren’t in front of the camera. 

At the end, actors have to shoot in order to keep the episodes running.
