MUMBAI: Actress Sneha Namanandi is currently seen playing the role of Shivina in Sony TV's popular drama series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.

This is Sneha's debut Hindi TV soap and she is receiving praises from the fans for her character.

The stunning diva is paired opposite Pranav Misshra in the show who plays the role of Akshay Sood.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Sneha who spoke about some fun stuff apart from her professional life.

There are pros and cons to being in the entertainment industry. What is your take on this?

I would say that any profession has its pros and cons. Nothing comes easy in life. So, we can't say that there are pros and cons in this industry only. But when I talk about this industry in particular, you have to sacrifice your personal time when you are doing a TV show. But when you see the love and the support from your fans, I think it's all accomplished. You feel that it's all worth it. 

How did you bag your first-ever project in your career? 

My first project was a youth-based show on TV titled Confessions of an Indian Teenager. I used to study and the makers were looking for a particular face. I used to play Hockey and was into dramatics. I never thought about getting into acting. They were auditioning and one of my friends asked me to audition for a Balaji show. I went for the audition and I got it. That's how I realized that I should pursue my career in acting.  

It's the dream of every actor to work in an Ekta Kapoor show. How is it to work in daily soap queen Ekta Kapoor's show?

When you are doing a daily soap, there are so many characters around you. Every person has a different temperament and each one is a different kind of actor. This is a great experience to be amongst different kinds of people and still be in your own space. I don't get carried away. Adjusting with people around you and being flexible to all the circumstances and that's what we learn while doing a daily soap.
