MUMBAI:Gautam Vig is a well-known television actor who is best known for his performance in serials like Ishq Subhan Allah, Tantra, and Pinjara Khubsurati Ka etc.
These days he has been grabbing headlines for his participation in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 16, where he came across as a strong contestant of the show in the initial days, but recently his game dropped down a bit.
His relationship with Soundarya Sharma was the main talking point inside and outside of the house, and the fans felt they made a good couple.
Unfortunately, the actor’s journey came to an end and he was evicted during the ‘Shukarvaar Ka Vaar’ episode.
TellyChakkar has got in touch with the actor and asked him what he thinks about Shalin-Tina’s relationship, and who he thinks should have got evicted in his place.
How does it feel to be out of the Bigg Boss house? Did you expect to be evicted so soon?
I am still absorbing what has happened. Things are going on well, I still dream about the house and I feel I have come out to a different world. The experience has been good, but I never thought that I would be evicted this soon as I was a strong contestant and I deserved to be there. There are other contestants who are weaker than me like MC Stan, Sajid Khan, Tina, Sumbul, and Ankit. I deserved to be in the house.
What do you have to say about Tina and Shalin’s bond? Is it true or false?
It's a hundred percent fake and the entire housemates also feel the same. During the first week it was Shalin who came to me and told me to begin a relationship with Tina, and then suddenly he only started a bond with her. So, I feel they are just acting for the camera and nothing is real.
You had a very special bond with Soundarya Sharma, and now since you are evicted, you must be missing her right?
I am going to miss her. Like I said, I am still in a dilemma. I know she is down as she was crying the whole night after my eviction. But I told her to control her emotions, and I know she is a strong girl. We knew this would have happened someday and we will see how things work out once she is outside, because at the end what matters is our parents. If they are okay with it then nothing else matters, and we don’t need to give justification to anyone.
If not you, then who do you think should have got evicted from the show?
I thought it would have been between Tina and Soundarya. I knew that Soundarya was not fit medically, and she wanted to go since she had never lived with so many fake people under one roof. But I know she has a strong personality, but at the same time she needs to be emotionally strong.
Well, there is no doubt Gautam Vig was a strong contestant in the show, but in the last few weeks it went down. But the audience will miss watching him on the show, especially his bond with Soundarya.
