MUMBAI: Every day many shows are been launched on television which come out with a new concept or are a remake of international shows.

As we had reported earlier, Sony Tv is coming up with a new show titled Katha Ankahee which is the remake of the Turkish serial “1000 Nights”.

The show will be produced by Sphere Origin which is the most credible and well-known production house with a massive hit record.

Some of its notable works include Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Balika Vadhu, Saraswatichandra, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, and Pandya Store.

The show will star the handsome hunk Adnan Khan who was last seen in ‘Ishq Subhanallah opposite Eisha Singh and will star Aditi Sharma who is known for her roles in shows like Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka etc.

Known for his roles in the television series Arjun, Friends: Condition Apply, Twisted Wala Love, and Ishq Subhan Allah, Adnan Khan is a prominent Indian actor who works in both television and movies. 

What was your first impression of your co-star Aditi Sharma?

I thought she was very nice, she shared with me some of the compliments I had been receiving in my absence, she doesn't hold it back, because sometimes people tend to hold back the compliments a little more, she’s not like that, she immediately told me that oh the directors think you did the scene pretty well and everything. So, I thought she was very nice, I got a really nice vibe and energy from her. I used to pay a lot of attention to the person to gauge and judge them and understand if we would vibe, and get along but now I just believe in the energies, and how I feel when I sit next to them.

When we talk about the OTT space, is that something that you would like to explore more, and what would your personal limitations be in regard to the content and bold scenes?

I will not do a bold scene if it doesn't make sense to me, if something has a bold scene for the sake of showing skin then I am a little withdrawn, if a bold scene involves something to do with love, I am a sucker for love, I am a romantic, so if it is to show love like a kissing scene or something like that then I understand but not for the sake of showing skin, I’d refuse that.

Anything you would like to say to the fans?

Please, show us your love and your support, our show will air on the weekdays on Sony and we are putting in our best efforts give us your blessings for sure and do watch the show.

Katha Ankahee airs on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 8:30 PM and stars Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma in the lead roles.
