We got in touch with Ankit Siwach to know about his family's reaction to the show, his character, and more:

The show has a completely different perspective behind it, what is your take?

I feel the show is very maturely written, the whole concept, the storyline, the characters, the world and everything is very carefully and aesthetically written. The performance also comes out organically, when the emotion is genuine then people would surely connect to the perspective we are trying to portray. 

What kind of response did you get from the fans for the promo on social media?

The response has been overwhelming, all social media portals people have been showering alot of love and we have received positive responses on how unique the look and feel of the show is. This even encourages me to give my thousand per cent to portray Armaan and give the best to the viewers too. I feel motivated and would not disappoint them, we are working hard towards it. 

What was your family's reaction to your character in the show's storyline?

The family's reaction was really cute. My mom and grandmom watch StarPlus regularly, when the promo came out, they took it very sensitively. The previous characters I have played are quite cinematic and filmy, you don't see such people in the real world. While Armaan is someone whom anyone can meet every day. They see a part of me in the character. They are really happy and they said that If you are not in Meerut we can see you every day onscreen as Armaan, yes I feel really blessed that they loved it and are excited to see me.
