MUMBAI : Popular TV actor Rohit Purohit was last seen in Sony TV's medical drama series Dhadkan Zindagii Kii.

The actor played the role of Dr Vikrant Saxena in the show and was loved for his amazing performance. 

Rohit was paired opposite Additi Gupta in the show and the viewers were in love with this fresh new on-screen pairing. 

The talented actor has portrayed some amazing roles in his previous like Shauray Aur Suhani, Aise Karo Naa Vidaa, Chandragupt Maurya, Humne Li hai Shapath, Arjun, Razia Sultan, Porus, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji among others. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Rohit for a fun rapid-fire round where the actor spilt some interesting beans.

It has to be Vikrant from Dhadkan Zindagii Kii as it has changed me in a lot of ways.

There were moments when I realized about the work that I have done was worthless. 

A feedback that you received from your wife Sheena...

When I was initially reading the script of Dhadkan, it was difficult as there were lots of medical terms. Sheena told me that I can't be a surgeon. She said, "I don't know why they cast you". This impacted me a lot and I doubled my efforts for this role. 

A lie you always tell...

I don't like to lie but with time, I have learned that there is an art of lying. So, now, lately, I have started lying by saying, "I am just about to reach." This is also my signature dialogue. 

A lie about you that you read and couldn't stop laughing...

When I read about my and Sheena's breakup, I couldn't stop laughing and was wondering where this is all coming from. 

Rohit is missing from action ever since Dhadkan went off-air on 4th March this year. 

The diehard fans are eagerly waiting to see him back on-screen.
