MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's much-awaited show Bhagyalakshmi hit the small screens a few days ago. 

The show which stars Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti in the lead roles is working wonders. 

Bhagyalakshmi saw a fresh pairing of Aishwarya and Rohit and we all are hoping that this jodi would create some great magic on-screen.

Apart from Aishwarya and Rohit, Bhagyalakshmi also stars Shivani Jha, Smita Bansal, Neha Prajapati, Heman Thatte, among others in pivotal roles. 

Shivani is seen as Rohit aka Rishi Oberoi's sister Sonia Oberoi on the show. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Shivani who got candid about various things related to Bhagyalakshmi. 

On being asked how she bagged the show and what her reaction was when she was offered this role, Shivani said, ''I was very happy because it would be a second show with Balaji which means I did well in the first one!  It was a proud moment!"

Revealing how she bagged the show, she said, ''As soon as I finished Bhramarakshas 2 I was approached by the ACH of the show and she told me to audition for Soniya’s character. After two months I was finalised for the same.'' 

Further, speaking about Rohit and her on-screen bond with him, Shivani said, ''I’ve shot only one scene with him as of now but I’m pretty sure the audience will definitely see a great bond between Rishi and Soniya." 

Lastly, talking about Aishwarya, she said, ''She has a contagious smile! And a lot of positivity within!"
