MUMBAI: Karan Kundrra has exited Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai only recently and looks like the audience is already missing him in the show. 

The actor was paired opposite Shivangi Joshi who is now seen as Sirat and after a brief stint in the show, Karan, as he marked his exit, spoke exclusively to Tellychakkar.com. We asked Karan of how there are some characters which are introduced to spice up the drama between Kartik and Sirat (Naira) but this time, we can say that if there is one fictional couple on the show which has made a special place in the hearts of the audience after Kartik – Naira/ Kartik- Sirat, it is Ranveer and Sirat. 

Karan shared, “I think that is why they wanted me on the show. At the end of the day the show is about Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi and the reason why they introduced me is because they wanted to create this. It’s a beautifully written track for Ranveer and Sirat, and the kind of intensity that Ranveer’s character has received is something that people really enjoyed. 

When you write such a character so nicely and all the other characters also help blending in with the new character it does create magic. I would also say that it was definitely a challenge because fans have been watching them for 6 years and for them to see their favourite actor with somebody else is a very big change. The purpose of Ranveer was to get Sirat and Kartik together. They needed a fantastic story line and the team built up the characters beautifully.”
