MUMBAI: The handsome hunk of television Randeep Rai is presently seen in the social-drama series Balika Vadhu 2 which was previously airing on Colors TV and has now shifted to OTT platform Voot. 

The actor is seen playing the lead role of Anand in the show. 

Along with Randeep, Shivangi Joshi and Samridh Bawa are also seen in the lead roles. 

The trio has managed to keep the viewers hooked to the screen with their amazing performance. 

Well, we all know that Randeep enjoys a great fanbase. 

The chocolate boy is well-known for his role Sameer Maheshwari in Sony TV's show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. Randeep was paired opposite Ashi Singh in the show and fans were in love with Randeep's performance. His on-screen pairing with Ashi also became a huge hit.

What changes will the viewers see in Balika Vadhu 2? 

The first big change is that Balika Vadhu 2 will be streaming on an OTT platform and no more on Colors TV. Secondly, the looks of our characters are slightly changed. The characters will remain the same and Jigar might become a little better now. I feel Jigar was a bit grey initially but now he might turn positive. I am totally satisfied with this change and very happy about it. 

What kinds of characters are you looking forward to playing in your future projects? 

I would love to play negative characters. I want to experiment with many roles. But I look quite innocent and naive. So, I think it will be quite challenging to get such roles. I would give my heart and soul to playing such roles. 

How has your journey been in the industry? Are you satisfied with the feedback you are receiving? 

Yes, I am satisfied with the feedback I am getting. I took a break after Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai because I had planned that. Post that, Covid happened. After Covid, I was looking for something which is quite different. I was offered a show during that time but things didn't work out. Then I explored social media. Post that, when I was offered Balika Vadhu 2, I had no reason to turn down the offer. It is a big brand now. I'll do less work but quality work.
