MUMBAI: Vandana Pathak is a multifaceted artist. She was seen in the earlier season of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, however, she is not seen in the current season. She recently also shot for original Gujarati film titled Golkeri. 

In an exclusive conversation with tellychakkar.com Vandana shared details of her upcoming project. 

Vandana said, “I did get a call from the producer and that was very sweet when they asked me to be a part of the season however, I had commitments lined up and hence I could not be a part of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. Speaking of Golkeri, that was a one of a kind project and I was delighted to be a part of it. Speaking of my future projects, I am doing some films in the coming months and would like to take up the role on television which challenges my capabilities as an actor.” 

“I would like to add that Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is one of a kind show and it did add tang to the list of varied characters I have played in my career,” she added.

In an earlier interview given to Tellychakkar.com, Vandana had mentioned reliving the Khichdi days, “I was not at all sure about doing the character. I found it extremely difficult and thought that I won’t be able to perform as per what the makers want and then came Aatish (Kapadia). Aatish gave me a demo and frankly speaking, I just copied him. So, a lot of the credit for the acting must go to Aatish”.
