Popular television actresses Kamalika Guha Thakurta (Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi), Renuka Israni (Bade Acche Lagte Hai), Niti Taylor (Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan), comedian Rajeev Nigam, actor Vivek Dahiya (Veera), and fashion stylist Rohit Verma are celebrating their birthdays today (8 November). We spoke to the talented stars to know more about their birthday plans. Vivek quipped, “I partied last night with my friends. I received many birthday presents like special package of Spa treatment at Taj where I can relax myself, a Bluetooth speaker et al. I think my friends are planning to give me a special gift and I am waiting for that. These are all material gifts I think the blessings from my parents and loved ones are very special for me.” Kamalika averred, “I went to a temple with my two daughters. There will be a small party with all my close friends and relatives in the evening. I only wish for happiness and health for me and my loved ones. My daughters gave me handmade birthday cards and they are so cute and special for me.” Rohit shared, “Last night my sister threw a birthday bash for me and all my dear friends came to make my special day more special. I was shocked to see all my old and new friends. It was a beautiful surprise for me. I received so many gifts but one of my friends gave me a beautiful gift box which on opening had my image and sang Happy Birthday Rohit. I also received lot of Lord Buddha and Krishna idols. On my birthday I just want my fashion brand to flourish.” Renuka expressed, “I am celebrating my birthday with my parents as they gave us birth so we should pay some gratitude towards them. I will take my parents out on dinner. Every year at midnight I pray for happiness and success for myself as well as for my loved ones. The most special gift for me is the blessings from my parents.” Rajeev shared, “I am celebrating my birthday in Lucknow with my parents and my school friends. I don’t have any wish I am happy with whatever God has given me. I received gifts but they are all in Mumbai. I will make a comeback on TV whenever I get a good project.” Niti told, “I am celebrating my birthday on set with my co-stars as I am shooting and working on my birthday. I received too many gifts last night. My best friend gave me 19 – 20 gifts and I was so happy. I got two cute doll cakes also. I am gifting myself an iPhone.
