Ace actress Mamata Shankar, who will be seen in Arindam Bhattacharya's Flat No. 609, says that she is confident about the work of the director. The upcoming Bengali film, which is a mystery drama, will see the actress in a pivotal role. Mamata said, “The film has a horror and a thriller element as well. There is something interesting at every step which will amaze the audience. It’s a very interesting film. Actually, after Antarleen, I have developed confidence in him (Arindam).” For the uninitiated, Antarleen was Arindam’s debut film and it starred the actress in a key role. Talking about her role in Flat No. 609, the actress said, “Audience will get to see me in a different role. It is different from the roles which I have played earlier. The role is not big but interesting. I will be seen with Soumitra Chatterjee. I feel happy about the fact that now people are offering me roles of different kind.” Flat No. 609 also stars well-known actors like Abir Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar, Kharaj Mukherjee and Rudranil Ghosh.
