A page from the personal diary of Vivan Bhatena Hello everyone, this is Vivan Bhatena. Born and brought up in Mumbai, I am a model turned actor who is now trying his hands in fashion photography. Having always gone with the flow in my life, I was first noticed when I won the title of Mr. India 2001. Then, there was a rumor related to this when people thought that I worked as child actor in the Anil Kapoor and Sri Devi-starrer Mr. India. Since I always wanted to be a model, I really worked hard to follow my passion. The biggest milestone in my career was when I came to be known as best model although for a brief period of time. Later, when I decided to take to acting, I did theatre for four years to polish my acting skills. Getting into commercial TV has been a good learning experience so far. My first break on the small screen was as Tulsi’s son-in-law Abhishek in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus. It so happened that while I was giving an audition for Kehna Hai Kuch Mujhko for Sony Entertainment Television Ekta Kapoor saw my acting and immediately cast me for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. I really worked hard to get into films, focusing on my eventual goal with full concentration and left no stone unturned towards that. I don’t like to stick to one profession and always get into things I like. The problem with films is that they don’t happen often. Right now, I am more into fashion photography and anchoring. Photography is my area where I can perform to the best of my ability. Exploring different avenues and expressing myself in different areas make my day. As a photographer, working for designers and magazines is my only focus now. My role as Armaan Kapoor in Aamir Khan’s Talaash was a privilege to me. Working with the actor and Excel Entertainment was indeed an honour for me. In such a case you feel like you shouldn’t have been paid for it. The best year of my career was 2007 when I was offered different roles. I like creativity and love getting into everything like making documentaries, doing photo shoots, getting into filmmaking and direction. Currently, I am assisting Vikram Bhatt for his upcoming movie. So folks, this is Vivan Bhatena, whom you guys have appreciated on small screen as well as on big screen, taking your leave. Hope to get the same kind of appreciation in my other works. On my part, I will ensure that my creativity, in everything, will reach you in an effective manner.
