MUMBAI: Well-known actor Shaleen Malhotra has been entertaining the audience with his acting chops.
He is currently seen in Ziddi Dil- Maane na. Shaleen is portraying the role of Captain Karan in the television show.
Though Shaleen Malhotra is busy shooting these days, he will celebrate Janmashtami tomorrow in his own little way.
While this year too the celebrations will be low-key like last year due to the pandemic, people's spirits will be high. In fact, he is always excited about this festival. He told The Times of India, “I know that celebrations will be low-key like this year as well because of the pandemic, but I will celebrate the festival at home with my family.”

Sharing his childhood memories of the festival, the actor told the daily, “My fondest childhood memory is the time we would spend preparing for the festival. We lived in a colony in Delhi and everyone would come together for the Janmashtami preparations. All the kids, including myself, would get mud from the ground, get different Krishna dolls and prepare a makeshift stage with a small lake and mountains.”
He added, “I used to dress up as Lord Krishna and everyone used to make me feel so special. Those were some of my happiest days. What I really enjoyed was the whole process of coming together during festivals. And as a team, all my friends would arrange things on our own and decorate the place, connect the lights and sound systems to start the festival.”
