MUMBAI: According to a leading entertainment portal, Karan Patel is all set to play the role of Mr Bajaj in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.  

Yes, after a lot of speculations and media reports, Ekta Kapoor has finally chosen her new Mr Bajaj among Karan Patel, Gaurav Chopraa and Sharad Kelkar. SpotboyE has it that it's none other than Karan Patel who was last seen playing Raman Bhalla on her show Yeh Hain Mohabbatein. A source informs the portal that the final decision was made only very gently that Karan Patel will step into Karan Singh Grover’s shoes to play Rishabh Bajaj.

The portal further reported that Karan will start shooting for the show in the coming week. Also, his look will be drastically different from the one channeled by Karan Singh Grover, and his entry will bring about a big turning point in the story. Mr Bajaj's character has been one of the most important ones in Anurag (Parth Samthaan) and Prerna's (Erica Fernandes) life.  Earlier also a lot of names came in the forefront when Ekta announced that she is looking for Mr Bajaj and it was Karan Singh Grover who finally bagged the role.
