The show is titled ‘<em>Sports ke Superstar</em>’ and will be aired on Doordarshan. It is being produced by Siddhartha Basu’s Synergy Productions.
“The show is a precursor to the Commonwealth Games and is to be shot in Delhi,” says Anita Basu of Synergy Productions.

After her hosting stint with Sony’s Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, Mini Mathur will now host a Sports Quiz. The show is titled ‘Sports ke Superstar’ and will be aired on Doordarshan. It is being produced by Siddhartha Basu’s Synergy Productions.

Mini Mathur adds, “It’s a huge format show to bring in the Commonwealth fever. It is a concept developed by Synergy and is interesting. I have never done a sports quiz and it is an extremely challenging task for me. So I agreed.”
Auditions have been conducted across several cities in India and the final contestants have been chosen. The shooting kick-starts on May 15 and the first episode is expected to be telecast on June 11th.
Mathur was earlier seen as a participant in Synergy’s Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
