MUMBAI: TellyChakkar.com broke the sad news of actor Mohit Baghel passing away this morning.

Mohit was extremely close to Television actor Rohan Mehra. The duo worked together in a movie titled Uvaa in 2013 and ever since they share a thick bond.

In a conversation with TellyChakkar.com, an upset Rohan spoke at length about his bond with Mohit. He said, “When I came to Mumbai during Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai days, I stayed along with Mohit and we were very close to each other. He was my best friend in Mumbai. I used to take professional as well as personal advices from him and he used to be always there for anything I needed. We used to stay at each other’s place, hangout and meet quite often. He was a terrific actor”.

When asked about Mohit suffering from cancer, Rohan said, “He was suffering from a cancer in the kidney which had spread over other parts of the body. He was apparently on the fourth stage but was quite positive about pulling it off. While us friends and family were extremely worried, he used to give us strength and motivation and was certain that nothing will happen. I remember visiting him recently in Noida while I was in Delhi for a promotional event. I made a point to pay a visit to him and even at that time he was being optimistic about everything.”

Rohan added, “I called him 3-4 days back. He told me that he is having an issue in the throat because of chemotherapy and hence couldn’t speak on the phone. I then connected with him via messaged and asked him to take care and today morning I got this news”.
