Narayani Shastri has moved on. She’s married Rahul Agarwal. Ok, ok,before you queue up to congratulate her, let’s tell you, they have hitched up for a film! Called Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke, the film also stars Om Puri, Ravi Kissen and Paresh Rawal.
A situational comedy, it is about Devakinandan Tripathi (Agarwal) who comes to Mumbai and his experiences in the city.Narayani plays the character of Mikilesh Kumar Dubey. Tripathi works in Mumbai’s weather department.
Narayani said, “This is my debut movie and I am very excited to play the lead. It was great working with Om Puri and Paresh Rawal. The film is essentially about five of us and it will be incomplete even without one character.”
She added, “We have already finished shooting the film, just a couple of songs are left.”
Ask her about the “rumoured” friendship between her and Agarwal and she quips, “He is my director and a good friend.”
