Viewers have recently witnessed the ‘crowning moment’ of the young Pratap (Faisal Khan) amidst pomp and grandeur in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. It is now time for more of action in the popular show produced by Contiloe Entertainment.

In the coming episodes, the young and dynamic Akbar will be introduced. As reported by media, Sahil Deshmukh essays the role of Akbar. The lad starts shoot from today (24 September 2013). His introduction takes place when Akbar gets to know of his father and emperor Humayun’s (Gufi Paintal) death. He is brooding over his father’s death when Maham Anga, played by Jaya Bhattacharya is with him.

We hear that Akbar will be coroneted in the jungles as King post which he will wage a war against the Emperor Hemu. After this, he will enter the Mughal kingdom to sit on the throne. Meanwhile, Pratap who has just been crowned in Mewar will be banished by his father and King Uday Singh (Shakti Anand).

Our source says that Maharani Jayawanta (Rajshri Thakur) keeps getting this fear of a major threat on life hanging over Pratap, with Rani Bhatiyani (Aashka Goradia) being around. In order to keep her son away from Bhatiyani, Jayawanta asks Uday Singh to send him out of the kingdom. She does not even reveal the reason behind her decision to Uday Singh. The King accepting the wish of his Maharani ends up banishing his own son.

Destiny will take its course - while Akbar will be shown getting to his throne, Pratap will be thrown out of Mewar to lead a life of a commoner.

We tried calling Faisal Khan and Rajshri Thakur, but could not get through to them.

Keep watching this space for more interesting updates.
