Just back from friend Arjun Punj and Gurdeep Kohli's wedding in Delhi, the gorgeous Raavee Gupta and Manoj Bidvvai who are slated to tie the knot on the 17th of this month in the picturesque land of Goa, could wait no longer. Or so it seems, for on Thursday, Raavee officially became Mrs. Biddvai - yes, they had a court marriage before flying off to Goa to oversee the arrangements at the wedding venue. Few people know that Raavee, who plays Raavan's mother Keski, is actor Rajendra Gupta's daughter. Raavee and Manoj met at a common friend's wedding but it was later, because they are in the same profession that they kept bumping into each other and before they realized, they were in love with each other. It is a different story that they kept denying it to the media until one day when Manoj proposed to Raavee at her place, in front of her parents. Raavee is gung ho about the icy blue fish-tail cocktail dress coupled with diamond jewellery, which she will wear on the 16th, that is, the previous day when they have the cocktail party on the beach. But she is paranoid about wearing saris, especially the nav-vari one for the Haldi ceremony. About selecting Goa as the marriage venue, the svelte actress says,wanted it to be different so we decided on a sunset wedding right on the beach in Benaulim, away from the hustle-bustle of the metropolis.” Though Raavee plays mother to Narendra Jha, who is more than ten years older than her, in Raavan, she is looking forward to doing roles her age in the future. The bride and groom have been shooting for Raavan and Doli Sajaa Ke, respectively. It’s only once they reach the sun-kissed Goa today, that the couple will get time to sort out the wedding plans! ,We wish the good looking couple a happy married and blissful life!
