MUMBAI: Monalisa has carved a niche for herself in the entertainment world. She has been part of various projects.

Currently, the actress is shooting for her show Namak Ishq Ka in Hyderabad. The TV beauty has been missing her husband Vikrant Singh. She has been posting many throwback pictures and videos from their old trip to Goa.

Monalisa, in one of her posts, wrote, “Missing...Missing..(with heart emoticons) @Vikrant.” While she is happy working in such difficult times, she is also sad that she has to stay away from her husband for so long. Talking about it, the actress said to Times of India, “My husband is in his hometown Azamgarh. I am missing him a lot and we are talking almost everyday on calls and video calls because there’s no other way.”

She added, “It’s been a long time that we haven’t met. He went for his shoot in Gorakhpur on March 30 for his project and from there he went to his home due to the lockdown here in Maharashtra. Later I tested positive for COVID-19 due to which I had to quarantine at home and there was no way that we could meet at that time. And post that, as soon as I recovered, my shoot resumed in Hyderabad. So it’s been too long that we haven’t met each other and spent time.” This has been the longest time that they have spent away from each other. “This is the longest duration...we haven't met for so many months! We both are restless to meet each other now,” said Monalisa.
