A lot of actors are often linked to their co-stars and any random person whom they are spotted on various occasions. 

One of the popular actresses of The Kapil Sharma Show was also allegedly linked with someone.

Well, it's none other than Sumona Chakravarti who played various comic characters on The Kapil Sharma Show. 

A few years ago, Sumona Chakravarti was linked with dating Samrat Mukherjee. She was rumoured to be dating Samrat who was Bollywood's well-known bunch of brothers and sisters Kajol, Tanisha, Rani Mukherjee, and director Ayan Mukherjee.

According to some media reports, the actress was to take her relation to a next level and had decided to marry soon.

Reportedly, Samrat was 11 years older than Sumona and they came close to each other after they met a few times.

In one of her previous interviews, Sumona had also said, "We have known each other for the last 4-5 years. He is a very good friend of mine. He is like a family member to me.”

Samrat was seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. He played the role of Ganesh Ghosh.

He is a well-known prominent actor in the Bengali film industry and was also seen in few Hindi movies.

However, Sumona had later laughed off at these rumours and said that she meets Samrat very rarely during Durga Puja and has no plans to get married.

Well, the news about Sumona and Samrat's alleged relationship faded with time.
