Tellychakkar.com exclusively reported about acclaimed director Waseem Sabir passing away in a freaky accident in his home on 2 January. 

The director renowned for his work in shows like Veera, Tamanna, Gangaa and many more, was loved and appreciated not just for his work but also as a person. 

The industry has been left in a shock by his death and his close aides and associates have been left shattered by the loss. 

Among them is the pretty Ridhi Dogra, who is all set to star in the upcoming Zee TV daily Woh Apna Sa

The actress, who got recognition for her performance in Maryada, a show directed by Waseem, tells, “Waseem sir for me was the only one in the industry, I could turn to for advice and guidance. From my first show Jhoome Jiya Re, till Maryada, he has been instrumental for my foundation as an artist. I am his prodigy and owe everything I know about the craft to him.” 

Not just professionally, Ridhi also shares a personal bond with the showmaker as she reveals, “On a personal front, Raqesh (Bapat) my husband and I feel a deep sense of emptiness because he was the first one to know about our relationship and wanted us to marry soon. I cannot comprehend his passing and no words can do justice to what I feel. But I want to remember him as the childlike, happy, generous, warm and caring person he was to everyone.” 

The actress also shared her emotions on Facebook with a beautiful post that reads:
