MUMBAI: It’s time to smile as we bring an update for the TV audience! The makers of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 have finally found their Gehna. 

Ever since, the first promo of the much-awaited Star Plus’ show was out fans have been speculating who is going to play the lead role of Gehna! Earlier reports stated that show's producer Rashmi Sharma was looking for a fresh face to play this character and she has finalised newcomer Sneha Jain for the role of Gehna. Harsh Nagar has been roped in to play the lead role opposite the actress.

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 is Sneha’s debut Hindi TV show. Harsh was seen in the role of Kartik in the serial Kartik Purnima which recently went off air. 

Producer Rashmi Sharma told a leading daily, “It was difficult to audition for the leads, as it all happened online because of the pandemic. But thankfully, our cast is finalised now. While Harsh, who will play the role of Anant, has done a few serials in the past, Sneha, who will be seen as Gehna, is new to Hindi television; she has done Gujrati serials and theatre.”
