The elegant actress Sonali Bendre making her fiction debut with Balaji Telefilms’ show for Life OK has already made headlines. Reported to be a story with a political backdrop, Sonali is supposed to play the protagonist, who will be a mother and a family wife who will be forced to develop a career of her own, after her husband would get caught in charges of corruption.
We now hear that seasoned actor Samir Soni, popular for his lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s Parichay – Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapnon Ka and last seen in Khauff (Life OK), will now return to Balaji Telefilms with this upcoming show.
A source states, “Samir will play the protagonist paired opposite Bendre. Samir’s character will be that of a businessman who will fall for Bendre, after her husband will get arrested.”
Also, going by the trend of having long titles for her shows, Ekta Kapoor has followed the pattern of her successful show Bade Acche Lagte Hain in choosing the title for this unique political saga on Life OK.
A reliable source tells us, “This political saga has bagged the title Bade Dhoke Hai Is Raah Mein Pyaar Ke. And hopefully, this interesting title and concept will keep viewers glued to the show.”
The show will also have the sister-in-law of Sonali’s character supporting her big time in her struggle to success. The casting process is presently on, and the show is supposed to launch in the coming months.
Samir said: “Talks are on but nothing is finalised yet.”
