Tellychakkar had earlier reported on a period drama that will depict the lives of historical greats. This show was to air on Zee Next. With Next going kaput, the show is now slated to come on Zee TV. One of the heroes who’ll be depicted is Siraj-ud-Daulah. Vineet Raina was earlier roped in to play the historical warrior but he then opted out. He was then replaced by Sharad Kelkar.
A source informs, “Sharad Kelkar will be playing the role of Siraj-ud-Daulah . Siraj is one of the man heroes who’ll be projected in the show. Siraj story is likely to last for 2-3 months. The title of the show hasn’t been decided yet.”
Despite repeated attempts, Sharad Kelkar remained unavailable for comment.
